EESSI Hackathon, Dublin

On Friday 25 September 2026 (09:30-16:30 local time, UTC+1), an EESSI hackathon will be organised in the wake of the EuroHPC User Days which takes place 22-24 September 2026 in Dublin.

Provided by EuroHPC CoE MultiXscale in collaboration with the EuroHPC Federation Platform.

The hackathon will be general in nature, but centred primarily on the needs of in-person participants. A detailed program will be added after initial registrations have taken place and discussions with those registrants.

An expected general outline of the program is:

  • What is EESSI?
  • How do I build my own software on top?
  • How do I tweak EESSI for my site?
  • How do I contribute to it?
Ample time will be provided for participants to follow prepared examples (where they are feasible).
The session will be recorded. Recordings, slides, and materials used will be made publicly available shortly after the event via this page.

VENUE
The event will take place at Trinity College Dublin, in the Lloyd Institute building.

Online participation is available via Zoom (practical information to join will be shared only with registered participants).
